Jim and Jen | Carnival Engagement Session

When Jim and Jen announced their engagement, we were over the moon excited for them! They were our teachers in high school, and just like the rest of our peers, we were waiting very impatiently for them to start dating, and then become engaged. When they scheduled a meeting with us, holy excitement! It’s not everyday you get to capture the biggest day of your teachers’ lives, especially teachers that are SUPER fun. After lots of collaboration, it was decided that a carnival engagement session was the best fit for them. They wanted their fun, loving, competitive sides captured and I think we hit the nail on the head! 

First we started with formal family portraits in Beaver. Their little family is the cutest! 

Next came the carnival! 

We finished up this awesome session with Pirates! 

Even with it being super hot, and the sun being uncooperative, they rocked their session! Hopefully now Jen believes us when we tell her she IS photogenic! And hopefully this makes up for all the times Jake and I were disruptive and lazy in your class, Jim! 

Now even more excitement comes as we plan and design their Save the Date cards and invites!
