Morgan and Ronnie - Hell’s Hollow Engagement

Our first session of 2019 was with Cameron Diaz and her fiancé Ronnie - okay maybe not THE Cameron Diaz but Morgan sure is her Doppelgänger! Ronnie, Jake and I went to high school together, and Ronnie and Jake worked together for a short amount of time. These two guys…. they’re seriously two peas in a pod. We were both so so excited when Morgan contacted us to be their wedding photographers, we knew we would have the best time working with them. We met up with them to talk about their wedding and scheduled their engagement session THAT NIGHT for that following Sunday. They are getting married in December - Christmas themed YAYYY! - and wanted their engagement photos to have snow.  We were super lucky to get a bunch of snow on the ground that week and knew we had to act quick before it disappeared. They’re both very familiar with McConnell’s Mill State Park and knew it would be the perfect place for their session! We were a little nervous that the snow would be gone as the weather forecast was saying 60s for Sunday! It ended up being the most perfect day though. We had sun, warm weather and still a bunch snow all over the place! The winter sun came through the trees in the most romantic way, and we stumbled upon a heart in the ice that we absolutely had to work with. We slipped and slid all over the place during our hike but it seriously all worked out so perfectly.  

Ronnie and Morgan’s connection and love for each other is so apparent. It’s the kind of love everyone dreams of, the kind of love everyone deserves. You can absolutely tell how much they love each other just by the way they look at each other. They laughed and poked fun at each other the entire time, I don’t think any of us stopped laughing. 

Not only did we capture Morgan and Ronnie’s love for each other, I had the pleasure of capturing a surprise proposal. Apparently our clients love us so much they want to marry us! Jake and Ronnie got on the ice heart, and that’s when Ronnie got down on one knee. These two guys, they’re too much haha! 

We can’t wait for their wedding, we know it’s going to be the most beautiful, most fun night ever! This was the best way to start our 2019 season, and I’m sure their wedding will be the best ending to it!
